Getting to Red Chilli Rest Camp is not just a road drive, but rather a fountain of unending adventures through the lush green grass crowned with the over looking hills. The mixed vegetation is a hideout to forest primates and the whirling Uganda birds.
By public transport
You can catch a bus daily from Kampala to either Pakwach or Masindi, but there is no public transport from here into the park (approx 80Km). We can arrange a pickup for you on request – please contact us for pricing and availability.
By Road Transport
From Kampala, take the Gulu highway as far as Kafu bridge where you turn left to Masindi. On reaching Masindi, turn right opposite the Shell garage onto the dirt road towards Murchison Falls National Park. After around 10 to 15 km, turn left (signposted) and continue to the Park gate. From there it is approximately 60km to our camp, signposted from the main road, just before you reach the river.
You can also enter the park from Tangi or Wankwar gates on the North bank of the Nile, but please bear in mind the ferry crossing times are strictly adhered to:
